Real Estate Investor Sales Training Tips

Like it or not, as creative real estate investors we’re ALL salesman and saleswomen. I know what you’re thinking… but it’s true. When we approach a seller to do a short sale, sell a house subject-to, or even to let us lease with an option, we’re “selling”.

Nick has literally hired and trained over 10,000 salespeople in his career, before getting into real estate. In this episode and video, he teaches some tips and tricks to help you close the sale… without “closing the sale”!

These tips would be particularly good when asking a seller to do seller financing, as explained in the episode about real estate seller financing tips.

Keep in mind that “everyone is always selling something”… including the person on the other side of the table! When negotiating, never give up something without asking for something in return, and when you ask for something, try to offer something as well!

  • Real Estate Investors ARE selling
  • Let them know “everyone is doing it”
  • Point out Money they stand to lose or make
  • Be indifferent, have a “don’t care” attitude
  • Have a list of completed deals
